They are all handmade in our studio in Kenya.

How to use:
When burning you votive candles make sure you use a votive container and it is the right size.

The container should just be big enough to hold the candle with no more than 1/8” space between the outside of the candle and the container it is being burned in.

A votive is not like a pillar candle that will stand on its own and burn without a container. Votives are almost the same width as height and so they will burn to the edges and need the support of the glass.

Once a candle is lit it should eventually burn to the edge of the candle and then the hot wax will burn over the edge and start filling up the container and eventually you should end up with a nice pool of melted wax that should burn until the wax is down to the bottom of the glass.

You should never let a candle burn completely until the wax is gone as it can cause your votive container to break or burn a spot on whatever it is sitting on.
